about the artist

From spending time on her family’s farm in Texas to enjoying life along the Louisiana gulf coast, Sallie Bynum Anzelmo has developed a passion for painting and designing inspired by the colors and textures of the nature that surrounds her life in the South. 

After receiving her Bachelors Degree in Secondary Art Education from Louisiana State University, she is a local artist and full time art teacher in Baton Rouge. Working with oils, acrylics, graphite, and multiple texture mediums she creates a variety of compositions depicting the environments that have been her inspiration since childhood.
